APOLLO PETROLEUM JELLY TRI 2020

Apollo Petroleum Jelly TRI 2020 , the season opening race of the Bike King races will be held at the triathlon capital of the Philippines, Subic Bay. It is the most sought after opening race for the season as the triathletes are eager to get out of off-season mode.. A course perfect for beginners who want to give tri a chance, age –groupers raring to chalk up another PR and veterans who want to make a comeback. Whatever your reason is, Apollo Petroleum Jelly TRI 2020 distance has something for every athlete wanting to become a better version of themselves. This year, those unsure if they can muster the strength for this distance have the option to still race under a 3-man relay team. Relay options are as follows: All-male, All-female and Mixed relay.

The calm crystal blue waters of Acea Subic Bay is the starting point of the 1.5km swim. Followed by a smooth 40 kilometer bike route along Argonaut Highway and a challenging climb going up Ocean Adventure. The combination of hills and flats pose a challenge and reward to athletes. Transition two takes you back to Acea for the run leg, which is a 4-loop course towards All Hands Beach with a sweeping view of Subic Bay.

Relay option is available for standard distance. For the not quite ready to do the standard distance, a shorter distance is available, 750m swim – 20k bike and 5k run.

Festive atmosphere awaits triathletes and spectators, making this event competitive yet fun. Every last Sunday of February, Apollo Petroleum Jelly TRI 2020athletes put their training to the test, to eventually break their boundaries and ultimately better themselves.
